If the Center Installer does not run, usually installing the latest Microsoft vc_redist.x64.exe fixes the issue.TROUBLESHOOTING (MacOS)
If you see the error:
“DiBiQuadro_Center_Mac_Universal_x_x_x.pkg” cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.
Open a terminal, and run the command:
- xattr -d com.apple.quarantine ~/Downloads/DiBiQuadro_Center_Mac_Universal*
IMPORTANT (macOS)
Ensure the macOS user running Center has write permissions on the following folders:
- /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
- /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
- /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins
To verify and set the permissions, run the following commands in Terminal:
sudo chmod -R 777 /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
sudo chmod -R 777 /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
sudo chmod -R 777 "/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins"
